When I was a kid I worked at a race track as a groom. Got bit by horses 3 or 4 times. They'd wait till you walk by and bite you on the shoulder.
Later on I was breaking up a dog fight. A friends german shepherd was fighting another dog. I reached in and grabbed the dog, and he was surprised and turned real quick and bit my arm. only 3 stitches to close it up.
