I hunted the last year with a Montana Rifle Company in 6.5 PRC. Had very good results on deer and hogs including some really big ones with both the 143 eldx and the 147 eldm.

What I like is that trajectory is close to the 7 Rem Mag,and 7 WSM but recoil is lighter. I think it hits a sweet spot for a hunting rifle.

In the 6.5 PRC,you now have multiple factory rifles as well as accurate Hornady factory ammo.
It really is the big brother of the 6.5 Creedmoor for the guy that wants out of the box rifles and ammo with more velocity than the Creedmoor for hunting.
