My old Gap 6.5 4s shot the 135 jlk’s at 3150, current 6.5 wsm spits them out at 3275 FPS also idling. The 135 atip will get a go and may even usurp my current plan to run the 147 eld-m as it’s mainstay if they shoot well.
Have also shot a ton of 180 eld-m’s through 7 wsm and 28 nosler without issue. Have a 7RM enroute currently that will also see the 180 eld-m but doubt I will use it on deer having the 6.5 on the safe
There ain't enough juice in the Beer Can squeeze for me,to leave the 147 behind. I'll take the BC increase and the velocity hit,for the 12 grains of mass trade off.
The Beer Cans of yore were VERY unpredictable and the 147 is the antithesis of same.
Win/win...all of which is soothin'.
Pass the 180's and hold the fluff.
