I thought that I would do that or the box blade. No need to worry about it stressing the attachments and hydraulic system over time huh?
Always have some sort of weight on the back if using the FEL. One thing I have done is made it habit to have my hand on the bucket control at all times because if the rear wheels start to lift or the tractor starts to tip you can bring things back to normal by slamming the controls into the float position as it drops the bucket to the ground quickly.
