The 3-9 is better optically.... and on par with many “high end” riflescopes. Though, I have no issues with the glass in the Fixed series... and I’ve hunted them in all kinds of light, weather, and terrain. The reticle In the 3-9 is the same design as the 6x, with the solid diamonds rather than the open ones found in the 10x. It seems more bold to me than the 10x.

At 3x the tunneling is pretty bad, but at 4-5x it’s solid and has a nice large field of view.

I’ve never had any parallax related issues with the 3-9.... and have run one out to 1300+ yards.

The scope itself is smaller than the fixed offerings. If it had a zero stop, and low-profile covered windage turret... it would be the ultimate hunting scope as far as I’m concerned.
