Stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany as a lieutenant, I bought a 6.5” Blackhawk in .41 Mag at the Vogelweh Rod and Gun Club for $275 in 1989. The Club had lots of the original of the original lead police loads. I shot a bunch of them and they were very accurate from my revolver. I now shoot that load’s modern twin; the HSM Cowboy Load featuring a 215 gr LSWC at 975.
