The only downside to the Freedom Arms model 97 is that it has a short cylinder length that measures 1.6" and if you try to push some of the heavies out of it, they're too long to fit the cylinder.

I never could understand this thought.
If you are loading your own, you have the ability to customize the ammo as you need to for your gun.
If your cylinder is 1.6 inches long, load the bullet to 1.55-1.58 inches COAL.
My Taurus is equipped with a short cylinder in 41 mag, as is the single seven in 327.
