Mirage, I was in the same boat as you with the 41 until I finally took the plunge and bought one. My 7 1/2" 657 has had great effect in the field using 210gr XTP handloads but it was`ent until I had FA`s build me a 10" model 83 in 41 that the true potential of this cartridge showed itself. Two New Mexico mulies and two Maine bobcat are some of the game taken with the 41. One of the mule deer was a single 70yd shot shooting a 210gr Swift handload..
