My 41 needs are met by the duo of a 4-1/4" Freedom Arms M-97, and a Smith M-657 no dash 6".
Originally the FA was paired with an M-57 4".
Both of those guns shot great. With different loads.
I'll say the Smith was picky because the FA shot most everything great. But not the one load the Smith shot the best. Not wanting to dink around with ammo mix-ups and such, the M-57 went to a new home. This M-657 likes all the loads the FA likes, so it's a match.
There is one 44 magnum still in my safe. that M-329PD is only staying because I've given up on finding an M-357PD for a reasonable price. Or at almost any price.
It's a purpose built sidearm that gets a lot of carry hours.
