Almost all my retail clientele is Mexican or Central American. To a man hard working, decent folk.
I rather enjoy engaging them in conversation and set them up. I’m a pretty “tanned”(part basque) and an immigrant. The most common thing is “I’d love to have a business like this, but I’m brown and I don’t speak English”. When I say I learned English, they can, too, it takes a lot of convincing for them to even start to believe a English is not my first language.

My point is, it IS cultural. Perception IS reality. If people believe they can’t do it, they are right. And as much as it pains me to say it, it does take a village to raise a child. Problem is, it’s Hillary’s village doing the raising.
