I had a Wyoming game and fish warden tell my son and I that he was astonished as how successful California hunters were.
I respectfully told him that we had the highest mountains in North America shy of Denali and lots of competition
He scratched his chin and said..."that makes perfect sense ".
Wow.
An out of state hunter explaining why his state has the best hunters and toughest terrain, while he hunts in somebody else's state.
I bet he never encountered THAT before.
