Jesus be like "yeah, they're not ready yet..."

Or just a normal guy looking for help. Either way. They not ready yet.

"You're all welcome in Gods house. Unless you don't look like us. The show ID and the the fugg out."

You are totally off base. Your wry comments = non sequitur.

The guy was not “normal” ....came in and immediately became disruptive.....started taking pictures..... refused to expose his face.....when asked his name, he replied that he had no name.....he refused to sit.... refused to engage in dialogue.....initially refused to leave......and until he was frisked, he kept his hands hidden under his sheet.... pointedly gave me an Islamic departure statement....the tried to evade contact when he left......... kept his sheet on as he walked almost mile away from the church.......tried to avoid being identified as he must have parked or lived over a mile away.

Nope, the action taken was appropriate and warranted.

Are we ready yet?

Yes and no......Yes in that if he to come back dressed the same way or acting in the same fashion, he would be removed again.

Are we ready yet? ...... for everything?

Well, maybe not....... we are only as ready as our numbers and resources allow.

Are we ready yet?

Yes, we are ready to seek troubled folks, people seeking God....seekers of all kinds......

Are we welcoming to all? Of course not...if someone shows up at church when we have women, kids and old folks and present as disruptive or threatening, they will get appropriately rebuffed.

The tax collector said: “Lord Jesus, have mercy on me, a sinner.” Jesus said he went home “justified.”
