If you can find a Remington 700 I would not be afraid of it , if not, a Tikka
Agree, except for the Tikka. I have a Remington 700 Classic, 270, made in 1978. That's what I'd look for.......an older 700. Second choice would be a Winchester Model 70. If looking for a new rifle, take a look at the Bergara's.
