Pardon the injection of practicality into this thread but the first question that comes to mind is how are you going to use it? Is it going to be a truck gun? Beater? Do you back pack? Hunt from a stand? Is collector value important?
For a collector the Pre 64 is probably the way to go or maybe a JOC. commemorative.
Lightweight, Kimber or Tikka lite.
General purpose, a current production FWT is hard to beat.
