My first and only for my first 10 years of deer hunting was a 700 ADL. It’s not going anywhere.
Buying today, would be a 70 Featherweight/Classic Sporter/Super Grade or a Kimber Classic or even a Ruger Hawkeye. All just depending on how big the gun find was at the given time and how I felt in a given day.
