If you are match shooting, I really don’t know. If you are going to use it to hunt, buy something either used or the best deal you can get on sale. And only buy if they have ammunition to sell also. About all new rifles and ammunition will do for anything you want to hunt.

Be realistic about weight of bullet appropriate for what you are hunting. There are experts here on 24hourcampfire that have already written on bullet selection for every kind of game with years of experience and good advice.
