This. Seems like I regularly read that potatoes, bread, rice and pasta are bad for you, and you should eliminate them from your diet. Problem is, I'm a meat and potatoes guy. Most of the meat that I eat is wild game. Have to have potatoes with meat, unless the meat is done with a stir fry over rice or a sauce over pasta. Mashed potatoes and gravy without bread and butter? Why would you do that to yourself?

I'm 60 years old, and in pretty good shape and good health (so far). I'll be damned if I'm going to eat tofu or fake meat just to try to live until I'm 92 instead of 90 or something. One of the things my wife and I enjoy is preparing and eating good tasting food. Not eating crap I don't like just to eke out an extra year or two.
