In 1959 I bought my first car...a '49 Ford 4-door sedan that had been lightly sideswiped down the passenger side. $65 Had an excellent engine and 3-speed.
Found a mint '51 Ford Victoria 2-door hardtop with a bad engine and trans for $150 and swapped in the '49's engine and trans. I was stylin!
