1970 Pontiac Tempest In A Teapot coupe, a Utah salt-rot car. Six banger, 3 on the tree, unlimited slip differential, manual everything. 22 seconds 0-55. Paid a grand in lawnmower money for it, kept it until after college graduation. It would not go, but it turned and stopped great, especially in winter. Amazing road feel, easy to drift, slide on both pavement, gravel and ice, but just a pussycat with a hair of oversteer. When road conditions were truly terrible, it was a great drive.
When I sold it, the throwout died as the buyer tried to drive it away. So, he got his $300 back and I had to get the paperwork changed back before I could limp it to the salvage yard.
