My first three cars were barn finds.

56' four door ford 6 cylinder and 3 on the tree. Bought it for 150 dollars when I was 14 years old. Drove it through high school. My mom got several phone calls about her 14 year old son parking in the teacher's parking lot...eventually the scoldings stuck, and I started parking in the teacher's parking lot when I was 15 and had my learners permit wink

57 ford two door with 352 police interceptor. Bought it for 400 dollars. Rode it hard and blew the engine in like 8 months. To be fair the engine was high mileage and rode pretty hard when I got it.

68 for mustang 6 cylinder standard shift. Bought it for 400 dollars. Sold it when I joined the military. Fun car, like a go cart for asphalt.

I liked the '56 the best, it was roomy for hauling my friends around, rolled and pleated seat covers, fender skirts, fuzzy dice and just a real classy car.

Since then, it's been mostly trucks for me.
