One good thing for me with the border being closed was a very good opportunity last year to go to Newfoundland moose hunting. With no US hunters going it was a LOT less expensive with no 2 yr wait. Just called up in July, booked and went in Oct. The ferry is only 5 hrs from here so it all worked out very well.
