If you want to compare farm subsidies to welfare so be it. I'd rather give the money to some one working their ass off and trying to make things work verses some one not doing a damn thing in life besides taking and/or selling drugs.

Both my grandfathers and my uncle were farmers. Neither took any gov't handouts. They were proud, hard working men. I was there. I used to stay with them on weekends and for weeks on end during summer vacations. I saw how hard they worked. When I got older, I worked along side them. All day, every day. Later I worked and earned my living for two years as a full time farm hand. There wasn't time to be spent posting on the internet.
