Killed a six point with a Marlin 336 three years ago at 15 paces.
The boy killed a five point two yaers ago with his Marlin 336 at 30 paces and then killed a doe last year with the same rifle, at 25 paces.
30-30 A REAL GOOD ROUND.. What do those gun writers know ?
I think them gun writers don't like to talk much 'bout the 30-30 cause it ain't some kind of long armed cannon with recoil pads and fancy camo or a push feed or a extra high power scope or it has to kick the chit out of you to be cool. I'll bet there ain't one gun writer who hasn't had a 30-30 or has one right now.
