I will die with my old thutty-thutty in the rifle rack. I would also bet that my Savage .30-30 over 12 gauge is still there when they throw dirt in my face. The Savage is one of the unsung and under appreciated great guns that just about anybody can use now and again. Accurate enough for deer out to 250 yards - and since it is a single shot I load 125 grain Nosler BTs and the deer fall like wheat before the sythe. Also works just great for turkey - and would, with slugs, make a dandy back-up survival gun if bear or other large predatory type creatures were a potential problem.
