This sort of situation is far more commonplace in BC than is admitted by many involved. We have an open GO situation where any foreigner can buy/own GO concessions and hire ANY foreigner who usually knows squat about BC hunting or client service....seen this many times.
The legendary Bull River, is among the most heavily hunted areas in the Kootenays, by BC residents and has been this way for 50-60 years. I am a member of a pioneer family of the Kootenays, worked for the BCFS near there starting 50 years ago and I would NEVER advise a hunter from "OZ" to book with an outfit there.
There are SOME good outfitters here, I will NOT post my opinions on this here, but, can maybe help you for any further hunts here. You are WELCOME and I am bloody sorry that these azzwipes wrecked your dreamhunt.....had this happen to me too.
