Boise's post really shows the issue with the Bull and SE BC as a whole; we have NEVER had the level of scientific management required to grow our game populations to the maximum level that the available habitat will support and so the game is NOT plentiful.
MOST Kootenay people I have spoken with are in favour, with increasing fervour, of a total ban on any non-resident hunting in this region, as there is NOT enough game for we resident hunters and very probably this will continue.
That said, I would URGE all non-res. hunters to REALLY research ANY GO here in BC BEFORE sending them $$$$$ as scams and poor behaviour as well as little game available is MUCH more commonplace than all the bullsh*t hunting rags and shows would have you believe!
