It has been argued that using a rifle scope is perfectly safe and OK for scanning/glassing for game, rather than using binoculars.
People should never sweep their guide or PH or other hunters in the group with the muzzle, people who are guilty of that are likely now telling others not to glass in the distance with the rifle scope....chuckle.
I also step on the gas when the light changes without looking...If someone ends up in the crosswalk its their problem because they are crossing when it says "Don't Walk".
Sometimes, the air you 'let in'matters less than the air you 'let out'.
