Guy, that pic of the Number One on the rug reminds me of (I think) a Gun Digest article way back when the rifles first came out. The writer, whom I can't recall, used a standard .30/06 with 200gr NPs to take a grizzly, off a log as I recall.

That .375 really seems like a "do it all" rifle. More than once I've thought of getting one of the .375 Rugers and using it with light loads, maybe cast bullets, for deer here. Probably won't, but figgering is half the fun!
