Same here actually. Most of my most of the shots around where I hunt are 50-150yds. I did shoot a doe with this 25-06 at 400yds one time. 75% of the deer I have shot have been with a 55-65gr bullet from a .223. I shot a nice buck one year in the neck at 200yds and dropped him in his tracks. I'll probably end up selling this .308 because I dont shoot it anymore and the recoil is a little much for me...
