900A New Member 9 Joined: Feb 2020 Posts: 2 Michigan	I have both cartridges, I've had the 25-06 much longer. I have dropped deer at 250+ yds 120 gr, shot porcupines at 275+ 117gr and woodchucks with 90gr at all ranges under 300 with my 25-06. My 308 is new to me so i dont have as many results. If recoil is ever a issue than the 06 is your ticket. IMO both serve for harvesting game in our country. Cheers
