Thanks for the great post Crow Hunter.

MtnBoomer,

This is my current dilemma.

I have a Harbor Freight heat gun for heating shrink tube when I wire stuff. It was $12. It has the technology of a hair dryer. I let my employee use it to wire his car stereo. It stopped working today go figure.

My Dad has been doing car upholstery since he was 14 yo and uses a heat gun all the time and it is a tool I would associate with my Dad since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Maybe I'll get one like Dads. It's made in the USA. It costs $220.

Now, I could go on the look out for a USA made heat gun via the World Wide Web, but I don't wanna be 4 hours into research on a hair dryer, but I did rant a little to my Dad about supporting the commie bastards, so my dignity is somewhat on the line.

So, I'll be on the Google machine tonight hoping some company in the USA makes a $50-$100 hair dryer that will hold up better than the $12 Chicom one that gave 5 years of great service in hopes of furthering the American economy because that's what I've committed to.

And truthfully, it's a pain in the ass.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!
