But, elected to personally transport all the high value stuff he could to minimize pilfering by the movers. While spending the night in Ft. St. John BC, someone broke into the trailer and pretty much cleaned him out. About $10k worth of stuff by his reckoning Included Bushnell HDMR II, 10x SS, lots of fishing gear, clothes, wedding ring... The list goes on. Mounties came and did a report but we never heard anything else from them. Put a serious damper on what was otherwise an amazing trip.

The firearms actually arrived with his household goods, no problem.

That sucks. Sorry to hear about that. I hope that this doesn't hinder him too much, in terms of getting started in the new location.
