It would be hard to beat a 140gn Partition and H4350 at 2 800fps in the old 7mm Mauser. I loaded that for quite a few years in my Number 1 but ran out of Partitions last year. I was going to buy some more but thought I'd better use the bullets on the shelf first so have loaded 140gn Woodleigh PPs. I can't see any difference in performance.
