If the idea is to hold onto a perceived white, conservative, old guy majority, there is no such thing.
The big problem is that Caucasians in America don't realize that they're a persecuted ethnicity. Affirmative Action is a set of Jim Crow laws directed against white people. But nobody sees them for what they are.
That will all change in a few years. In fact, the young people are growing up with that knowledge.
