Respectfully, God made free will regarding whether a person will sin or not. It's NOT about salvation.

Ephesians : Chapter 2 : Verses 8,9,10,11

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Perhaps I don't quite understand your position Please explain it a little more. Certainly everyone has free will as to whether or not they sin. Are you saying that one must quit sinning to be saved and part of His family Big Five Jack?

Hello,

I highlighted your direct question to me.
The short answer to your question is NO.
I initially responded directly to you earlier, because you seemed to have stated that we, as people, choose God's offer to us, to be saved by God.
That is incorrect. The scriptures say in a number of places, include that which I quoted, that we are saved by God's Grace, and that He chooses!
Ephesians 2 Vs 8:"...and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God"

I explain it often as sort of like the reverse process of a very well skilled pickpocket.
Imagine you decided to take a 1 mile walk to a local store for a small lightweight purchase.
90% of the way there you realize that you left your wallet at home, and you check your pockets and they are ALL totally empty!
You know the shop owners well, so you expect they'll let you pay them tomorrow when you explain.
Just outside the store a person brushes past you, and you both say, "Excuse me.".
You enter the store and right beside the cash register area is the small $5.00 item that you want.
With one hand you grab it, while saying hello to the cashier/shop owner whom you know!
You begin to tell the story of your forgotten wallet as you casually put your free hand into your pocket.
You are surprised to feel what you believe is a currency note!
You pull it out and see that it's a TEN DOLLAR BILL !
You can't figure it out initially.
Then you remember the "brushing past" with the other person!
You realize that the other person slipped that "gift" into your pocket!
There was nothing that you did to receive the gift.
You couldn't stop it from happening.
You were suddenly RICHER,
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
