Very little money spent to defeat the measure! Mostly local money. The NRA, was silent, at least I never saw an ad trying to defeat the measure! Not suprised by that. Voter apathy lost Oregon. Percentage of voters, actually voting was low in many counties. Worthless pukes anyway.

NRA stands for National Rifle Association. They do National stuff not State stuff.

What is the Oregon affiliate?

Are you a memeber?

The relevant organization is the Oregon Firearms Federation and yes, I'm a member. But OFF is very grassroots, and doesn't have a lot of money. I think a larger organization like the Second Amendment Foundation will need to take the lead in court cases. The NRA doesn't really do legal challenges, they're primarily a lobbying organization.
