We spent a lot of time in our "youth" (a relative term) racing in Canada (Westwood, Calgary and even on Vancouver Island). We always enjoyed the Canadians and never had any issues crossing the border. The only time we had a problem was trying to come back into the US through Sandpoint, Idaho. We were delayed for hours since my formula car didn't have a title. I tried to explain that formula cars did not have titles as they were never on the street. The border guard was having none of it and kept patting his revolver as he walked around the car. We finally got a supervisor involved and got the issue resolved. As always we make a distinction between the people and the politicians.
