Interesting views. First, its the US Border Patrol-not "guards".

In 2017 my wife and I were at Glacier Park and we decided to try
Waterton-Prince of Wales hotel. We neglected to bring our
passports. But I did bring a Federal retired badge and ID-as an INS Agent along with an old RCMP
card from a friendly Mountie.
Mr. Blackthorn I think the Inspector's name was. He stated passport or not, he decided
who came into Canada - at the small crossing near Waterton. He then stated you folks come in and stay as long as
you want.
Don't forget it was the Princess Pats who lost their troops as well as ours in the outback Middle East.

At any rate-politicians are the problem across the board and border. I am still a combat VN veteran, retired LTC and
Federale. Thomas Paine and T. Jefferson along with Louis Riel valued their freedoms and watched their politicians...

Albert Johnson did shoot RCMP Constable Edgar Millen-near the Rat River in the 1930s ..but the Mounties did get him.
