I got away from wearing a watch about 20 years ago. I was doing a lot of work on optical lab equipment at the time, and I didn't want to get hung up inside a machine. I still have my dad's last Timex and drag it out every once in a while now. I usually pick up a throwaway digital on the way to deer camp and wear it until it craps out and then buy another one the next fall.
