Dad bought a pawn shop watch for my grade school graduation gift. I still have it and wear it as often as any other - which isn't often. Found a Seiko dress watch in a parking lot mud puddle once. It needs a battery, but worked fine for years.

I recently bought a Stauer dashboard watch just to have something different as a conversation piece. Not a high-quality watch, but I think it's cool: http://www.stauer.com/item/stauer-1930-dashtronic-watch-17469/17469

The only time I wear one regularly these days is when I'm fishing. I tend to lose track of time on the water. Otherwise, I don't wear a watch or carry a cell phone. There are clocks everywhere.
