What's way worse IMO...more so and dangerous than a wrist watch is a WEDDING BAND!! Was working on an alternator at the rear of a Lycoming aircraft engine one day and apparently made contact with a hot wire and my wedding band got hung up and I thought I had fire coming out me Irish arse!!
No more wedding band was worn after that incident!! Also I know two guys that lost their fingers by having their wedding bands hang up on the bed of a PU when they jumped off!!
