While I can understand feelings such as this, the reality of the situation is Brady passed for well over 300 yards against the best defense in the NFL this year. With a 10-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter, this defense could not deliver a second straight Super Bowl title for the Seahawks. Brady simply picked them apart like the veteran he is and his precision in the second half, for my money, was the difference in the game.

When a defense can't hold a lead, it puts extra pressure on the offense to score enough points to win and sometimes that doesn't happen. I realize the last call could have been the difference between a win and a loss but it would have been immaterial if the defense had done their job, or done what they did during the regular season. They simply didn't execute.
