The lightweights I just got say 17-20 pound inches but suggest you refer to gun manufacturers specs. Mike
I think those numbers are for the tops of the rings to the bases. I'm looking for bases to action. The screws are slightly larger and threading into steel so I'm thinking they would recommend a bit more torque. But anyway good suggestion--maybe there are some specs in the owners manual, hadn't thought of that.
