That depends upon the cable involved, but even going with your numbers, at 2 miles of cable the cable alone would weigh over 7500 lbs, not counting the winch system, motor, etc. Add all of that in, and you're easily pushing 4 tons.

It would appear that you have a problem with my exaggeration, but not any his.
