A little bit off track but seeing that quadrunner seat reminded me of the crew of a helicopter I was using in Borneo. The 407 had inflatable skids and they would spray them at the end of every day with insect surface spray to stop the local dogs chewing on them.
Wonder if that works for bears?
Love the close up and personal stories. My encounters with rampaging wombats seem mild by comparison!
