Yep. I'd rather have a 9-lb rifle than a Montana, the safety is just too loud for me.
I think you are trying to be smart or funny. But it fails, because pretty much all the manufactuers will make 30-06 rifle around 7-6.5lbs. I hope you didn't read some ad that told you this was the only one and you had to buy it.
Hell, 9lbs is on the heavy side of any rifle out there, short of miltary surplus or varmit rifles. Not to many 9lb rifles out there on the shelves.
