Not sure why some are against quiet safeties. I realize hunting at long ranges it doesn't matter. I still like to be quiete though, its hunting.


I have experienced the extremely serious nature of Youper hunting. "Serious" generally involves a pile of rutabagas or turnips that a show dog couldn't jump over. *grins*

Do this with your 700 - apply a little downward pressure with your thumb as you're moving the safety all the way forward - don't "flick" it.
