I've been using TT's for over 30 years and what everyone is dancing around is...camping in a TT is not inexpensive. You mentioned that you may need a 5th wheeler. That will require a 3500/350 series truck (Min) and maybe duel wheels. The cost of actual camping days is minimal compared to initial cost to get started. If purchasing the right truck and "camper" is not a problem, the cost to camp will be of little concern. That said, we love it and camp 10 to 12 weeks a year.
