Link shows a world wide daily chart on deaths. The doubling rate is different for each country, but a good average fit is about 3 days. Naturally the rate changes by day, but it is easy to see an average exponential rate over an extended time. All this data is on the chart. This is exponential growth. Data is word wide.
I think it is fair to argue the future, but this data is the past. It really is not an opinion.
