I like Texas Roadhouse, but they’re all those “Cookie Cutter” deals with lousy acoustics and loud pop/country music playing. Kinda hard for me & Wifey to carry on a conversation.
I like Longhorn a little better because we can talk easily there, but I gotta say I’ve never had a bad steak at either one.
A while back, a friend told me to go to The Tower Ridge Inn, on Rt 30 just west of McConnlesburg. They’re local, but they’re every bit as good as any other steakhouses anyplace I’ve been, and better than most. Plus they have Pickle Fries and all the other appetizers that the other guys offer.
Wifey and I go there quite often.
